We experience moments of being “in-between” every day. We move between spaces, conditions and places. My work is positioned in the spaces and situations we often only pass through, those we experience as being fleeting, such as transient conversations, short breaks, and long farewells. Moments that defy any clear categorisation. This work is a process of searching for ways to represent subjective and everyday experiences. With this artistic research, I invite people to question their own understanding of space, starting with myself. This is a search for insights through performance, observations, and process-orientated forms of representation: an attempt to capture ephemerality.
