What is our attitude towards design? How do we engage with the techniques of visual communication? What does style mean to us? We, Ladina and Lara, are two designers on the cusp of transitioning from the institution into the “real world.” The pressure to define ourselves as visual designers leads us to vulnerable conversations about our positions and future. In our work, we question common practices within design and reflect on aesthetics and trends, thus establishing a new relationship with design. The resulting text fragments and questions lead to investigations of technical and experimental design approaches, which shape our own visual language.
