Stereotypical thought patterns shape our understanding of identity and of design, manifesting themselves in images and language, and penetrating almost all aspects of our lives.
This work examines the origins and visual representation of gender stereotypes. Using narrative and artistic research methods, I confronted theoretical concepts with my own thoughts by observing, organising, classifying and re-arranging them, with the aim of shaping perception. The result of this investigation is an artistic video essay that takes the viewer on a visual journey through the clarity and ambiguity of a complex topic.
