Visual Communication

Artistic processes are multifaceted, interwoven and personal. Trace aims to be a recurring format in which artists can openly share parts of their research and work beyond exhibition spaces and large monographs. It manifests itself as a series of publications, with each edition exploring a particular aspect of an artist’s practice, combining research material, interviews and artistic expressions. Creative processes are traced and insights into ideas, inspirations and methodologies are offered. A visual system is created for the series editions that brings them together while leaving room for individuality. This project is presented on the basis of the first two editions.
