Lost Rivers examines the fate of lost rivers, once the lifeblood of human civilizations, buried under asphalt by industrialization and urbanization. The project combines a short film and an accompanying book to explore the ecological, cultural, and social impacts of river displacement and the potential for renaturation. In the film, a water droplet follows its journey from a pristine source, through urban decay, to its revival through targeted renaturation efforts.
