Hybrid Media Lab

The Hybrid Media Lab develops innovative publication formats and promotes the seamless integration of analog and digital media. It explores interactive ways of communicating and new models for knowledge transfer, particularly within the humanities and sciences.
The lab also examines the ethical, legal, and societal dimensions of hybrid media, including questions of digital integrity, authorship and the role of AI. Through applied research, it prototypes and evaluates emerging methods and technologies that expand the possibilities of multimodal communication.
Committed to cross-institutional collaboration, the lab integrates research, consulting, and teaching. Graduate students play an active role, gaining hands-on experience in interdisciplinary projects that link theory and practice.
