Design Process 3
3 ECTS
This workshop begins with an acknowledgment of the students’ individual working methods as a foundational starting point. Through a series of steps, the course collectively explores and discusses the social and exemplary expectations inherent in exhibition settings. Students engage in experimental testing of an exhibition format, utilizing either existing work or a project specifically developed for the occasion.
As part of the workshop, participants collaboratively develop a public exhibition that navigates the inherent tension between the requirements of presentation and the social responsibilities associated with exhibiting. This process encourages students to consider and integrate the dual aspects of showcasing their work within a broader societal context, fostering a nuanced understanding of the dynamic interplay between presentation and the social role of exhibitions.
