Entwickler bionischer Prothesen studieren die Funktionen natürlicher Extremitäten und ahmen diese mithilfe der Technik nach. Besonders die Hand hat mein Interesse geweckt, denn sie stellt in ihrer Komplexität eine grosse Herausforderung dar. Zum heutigen Zeitpunkt ermöglichen derartige Prothesen eine Vielzahl von Bewegungen und Fingerfertigkeiten. Für mich ist dies faszinierend. Deshalb habe ich entschieden, eine Website zu gestalten, in der die moderne Prothese vorgestellt wird. Dabei ist es mir wichtig, eine Atmosphäre zu schaffen, in der die Prothese nicht mechanisch und unheimlich wirkt, sondern neugierig macht, Vertrauen schafft und möglicherweise sogar eine gewisse Faszination auslöst.
Die Website ist eine Kombination aus Bewegtbildern, einer Textebene, die die Prothese im Bezug auf den Menschen thematisiert, wie auch einen informativen Teil, welcher die Funktionen visuell erklärt.

Developers of bionic prostheses study the functions of natural extremities and imitate them using technology. The hand in particular has aroused my interest, because its complexity poses a great challenge. Today, such prostheses enable a wide range of movements and dexterity. This is fascinating to me. That is why I decided to create a website presenting this modern prosthesis. It is important to me to create an atmosphere in which the prosthesis does not appear mechanical and uncanny, but rather arouses curiosity, creates trust and possibly, even a certain fascination.
The website is a combination of moving images, a text layer that deals with the prosthesis in relation to the person, as well as an informative part that visually explains the functions.
