78 Jahre nach Curzio Malapartes Bau seiner Casa Malaparte am Capo Massullo auf Capri entschied die Fondazione Giorgio Ronchi, die mittlerweile im Besitz des Hauses ist, auf diesem imposanten, an einem mystischen Ort gelegenen Gebäude für ein Jahr eine temporäre Oase zu errichten. Entstanden ist eine Stätte der Ruhe, ein zeitgemässer Pilgerort in Temporärarchitektur, der den Geist befreit. Die zeitweilige Aufstockung wurde von der florentinischen Architektin Maria Norma Bianchi entworfen und im März dieses Jahres fertiggestellt. Im Zentrum steht dabei die Fusion der Architektur mit der von den Elementen geprägten Umgebung. Maria Norma Bianchi hat es geschafft, einen Ort der Verbindung von Architektur und Natur zu kreieren. Einen Ort, an dem Neu und Alt, Natur und Architektur, aber auch Mensch und Natur sowie Mensch und Mensch zusammenkommen.
In der dazu gestalteten Monografie soll einerseits ein persönlicher Einblick in Maria Norma Bianchis Arbeitsprozess ermöglicht werden, andererseits aber auch ein Überblick über den neu entstandenen spirituellen Ort und dessen Geschichte. Die Publikation fokussiert daher weniger auf technische Aspekte als vielmehr auf die gestalterische Poesie der Architektur.

78 years after Curzio Malaparte built his Casa Malaparte at Capo Massullo on Capri the Fondazione Giorgio Ronchi, which now owns the house, decided to erect a temporary oasis for one year on top of this imposing building, which is located in a mystical place. The result is a place of peace, a contemporary pilgrimage site in temporary architecture that frees the spirit. The temporary addition was designed by the Florentine architect Maria Norma Bianchi and completed in March this year. The focus is on the fusion of the architecture with the environment shaped by the elements. Maria Norma Bianchi has succeeded in creating a place where architecture and nature come together. A place where new and old, nature and architecture, but also man and nature and man and man come together.
The monograph designed for this purpose is intended to provide a personal insight into Maria Norma Bianchi’s working process on the one hand, but also an overview of the newly created spiritual place and its history on the other. The publication therefore focuses less on technical aspects and more on the creative poetry of architecture.
