Within this workshop, students engage in a critical analysis and exploration of contemporary and emerging design practices. The focus is on examining concepts, tools, and production methods, with a special emphasis on the scrutiny of social phenomena and the testing of innovative ideas. The specific topics covered in the module evolve annually to align with current research interests, ensuring relevance and timeliness.

Throughout the course, students delve into the presented positions, allowing them to both analyze and deepen their individual creative and thematic interests. They become adept at utilizing explorative and knowledge-oriented approaches and processes, enhancing their skills and understanding within the field. Simultaneously, students continuously evolve and refine their own artistic and designerly positions, engaging in reflective practices to enhance their growth.

Collaboration is a central element of the course, fostering a dynamic environment where students collectively contribute to the exploration of design concepts and methodologies. The thematic and methodical aspects of the workshop serve as valuable guides, informing students’ decisions and perspectives as they embark on their master's projects.
