Swiss Viz Award 2023
MA Visual Communication alumna Joana Kelén and her team at the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) received the “Swiss Viz Award 2023” for the visual design of the NZZ article “Todesfallen aus Ziegelsteinen und Beton,” which deals with the damage potential of earthquakes. The article used various effective visualization methods as well as an innovative guidance of the reading flow by means of “scrolly-telling.”
Kelén and her team also received a honourable mention for their visual storytelling of the NZZ article “Politisieren Frauen anders als Männer?”
